Rome in Photographs

I have so many photos from my trip to Italy, and it’s just impossible to use them all in a few blog posts. This city has a photogenic scene every time you turn a corner! One of the reasons I fell in love with Rome, just as I did Athens, was because of the mixture of modern and ancient architecture. You’re walking down a bustling street and suddenly there stands the Coliseum ahead of you. There’s nothing like stumbling upon buildings that are thousands of years old.

I visited Italy in the spring so it tended to be rainy and a little chilly, but it was still great weather for exploring. I think back on this trip a lot and I dream of going back, not just to Rome but to countless other cities across the country.

Here is a collection of some of my favorite photographs from Rome.
