15 Pictures to Inspire You to Visit Bryce Canyon

Don’t Wait No More by Joachim Nilsson | Epidemic Sound

Bryce Canyon National Park is located in southern Utah, near Tropic and Bryce City. It was founded on June 8, 1923 to preserve the “unusual scenic beauty, scientific interest, and importance,” and was originally called “Utah National Park,” according to the National Park Service.

The park is incredible! It’s 35,835 acres filled with rock formations, trails and even lush vegetation. It’s iconic spires are called “hoodoos” and they are all across the canyon, rising from the ground in every direction. It makes for beautiful hikes all the way down into the canyon, as well as plenty of pull-offs with viewpoints of the many “amphitheaters”.

Bryce Canyon is my favorite national park, and I’ve recommended the best hike in the park in my most recent blog post. Grab your best hiking shoes, plenty of water, and check it out!

In the mean time, I hope these photos inspire you to head out to Utah. Don’t wait no more!
