Who else is soaking in the last of these gorgeous August rays? I can’t believe the month is almost over! I have spent so many days this summer in swimwear, and I’ve added to my collection quite a bit so I wanted to share where I like to shop for swimsuits.
Swimsuits are kind of like jeans. You’ll try on 10 different ones you think are cute on the hanger but horrible on you before you finally find “the one.” Right now swimsuit sale season is in full swing, and I just wanted to share where I like to go for swimwear.
We all know that I am a fan of JCPenney (to say the least). While the original tag prices are really high, they always go on sale. A.N.A. will have 60% off sales towards the middle-end of summer, and you can combine that with coupons like 20% off with your JCPenney credit card. I walk out with swimsuits around $30 consistently.
The real joy to JCPenney is that they cater to people of all ages and sizes. Their selection of junior, women’s and plus swimwear is fantastic! They have one pieces, tankinis, bikinis and high-wasted options. I really believe anyone could find a pretty swimsuit here that they feel unstoppable in.
Target is awesome. They don’t often go on big sales, but their swimwear is so reasonably priced to begin with that it’s okay. They have a fantastic selection of swimsuits under $40. They will have 20% off sales throughout the summer, and if you pair it with a RED Card you’ll get an additional 5% off. For basic swimwear at reasonable prices, you can’t go wrong with Target.
All of my swimsuits are from these two stores. I feel like you can’t go wrong with large department stores because they’ll have the best variety for design, body type and prices!
